About Carroll
The diversity of Carroll Devine’s background rivals that of the 32 countries that she lived in or journeyed through for five and a half years. With a degree in Education, she was a teacher of English in Spain, Thailand, and Japan. In the United States, she has taught English in high schools, and English as a second language in multi-cultural, multi-lingual adult classrooms. She has been a teacher of Yoga and relaxation and a practitioner for decades.
Carroll is a freelance writer, journalist, public speaker, and voiceover artist. For a dozen years, she was a weekend radio announcer for WWNO.
In another lifetime, on a farm, she raised chickens, goats, vegetables, and three awesome sons . Carroll believes that life is a dance, and she currently has two more books in the works.

Sleeping Between the Rails: A Woman's Odyssey (a memoir of her five-and-a-half-year life-altering global adventure)
The Mystery of the Missing Smile (a children's book illustrated by Suzanne King)

She has taught voice improvement and public speaking, Yoga and relaxation, and trained adult volunteers for a hospice program.
